I purchased this for my grandsons (7 and 5 years old), they are home-schooled. They loved “free-play” just connecting chains, resistors and ammeters.
However, the real learning comes from the lessons. We are currently working through Act 1.
As grandad, I conduct remote ZOOM lessons as I have the PDF book and the online simulator.

Finally, if I had one suggestion, it would be a couple of accessories (for fun), like a light, and something else that makes a sound.

Brilliant Activity
I’m not giving this to my kids yet. I want to get as many of the projects done myself. Spintronics is great fun!

Just perfect!
This was a Christmas gift for our son and he was so excited to unwrap the entire set and get started. In one night he had already read through the three books and jump started into creating his gear creations. And then he’d tinker and tinker and rebuild and create to expand and apply new designs eventually getting to his conveyor belt. He was so excited he created a video and sent it to his engineering uncle.
What a great product for kids who are interested in STEAM concepts and just good old fashioned circuit building and exploring.
